I'm going with hideous
Did somebody say steampunk?
I'd throw a fiver in the hat of any man I saw playing that guitar on general principle.
That's someone's interpretation of what they think steampunk is. Kinda lame. The key is to make the additions functional. At least they are trying, and who knows, maybe it will all click down the road.
I'd love one of these for rockabilly gigs.
You'll need wheels to take you to the gig, too:
I kinda like steampunk stuff, but I don't find this one very convincing.
i like it
If Ron Jeremy and a female sasquatch had a baby it would not be as ugly as that guitar.
I don't know if I could go for the artsy fartsy. I will give this one over to Joel and Guido, the killer pimp...
For $219.00 it's an OK wall hanger. Not very functional as a guitar. As art, poorly excited.
I think it looks amazing, must be tricky to play though.
The whammy bars on those look incredibly cool
Yeah, that's some awesome work in those pics. Thanks for that, stephent2.
The other is strictly amateur, but maybe they'll get better at it. The idea of steampunk is pretty interesting.
is that the guitar, that alien played before killing the shuttlecrew?
I've seen some steampunk style guitars that I like, but not that one.
Actually, I think James Trusart's metal body guitars already had much of the steampunk aesthetic years before anyone heard the term.
