My first recollection of a nightlight was a small plug in the shape of a TV set. It really didn't emit a lot of light but it glowed a very cool green and probably shaped my attraction to the color. That and the Aurora Borealis, now there's a nightlight!

Lava lamps in the tiny aren't something I've seen, the heat required doesn't go well with that configuration. The do have glitter lamps like that.
I'd take a picture, but my powers out. Phone doesn't do dark basement photos of unlit lamps so great.

That came to mind but so did @blowtorch new lamps because at the cabin the antique night lamp in bathroom died and the blue LED model replacement is obnoxious.

Even in hotel rooms I make sure I know the route to toilet and an escape in the dark without my glasses. As one of the world's lightest or worst sleepers I don't like lights.
