I saw this on Amazon, they did have a couple other color options which are sold out, now this one is sold out too. Was $300 + tax. I've spent more than that on a set of pickups, guitar bodies and guitar necks.
Mi Musi Virgo Fusion. Teleish style, mahogany body, roasted maple neck, compound radius fretboard, SS frets, locking tuners, bone nut, dual humbuckers that split to single coil,a nice 2 point trem bridge with decent saddles, AND a very cool IMO finish.
I can't find any real imperfections; cons- well it needs a little set up / adjustment as have most guitars that I've bought including some that were much more expensive. Weighs 7 lbs 14 oz, about the same as my Player Tele.
Fun new cheap toy, they make some more traditional looking Tele and Strat models too.

The first couple pics are stock images, I think it looks much better in person than the pictures, it was hard to capture the glitter effect.
Thinking about getting some open frame chrome humbucker covers to put on and probably some nicer knobs but that's about it other than some set up work.

Smart looking instrument there.
These roasted maple, stainless fret guitars remind me of Eart's (at about the same price-point) and I will just have to wait for my turn, when the G.A.S. returns.

Looking forward to a detailed review.

I ordered one of the Eart Tele guitars a while back, it came in with finish blemishes and the color was much darker than expected so I returned it.
This Virgo seems to have more features and better build quality, maybe I got a lemon Eart but I was underwhelmed, the Virgo is nicer than I expected, good thing about Amazon is free returns, I think I’m keeping this one.
FWIW there are some Youtube reviews of the Mi Musi guitars.

I had a little time to work on the new guitar this evening. I'm calling it the "Sparkle-caster"!
I changed strings - the ones that came on it were pretty cheesy. Put a little lube in the nut slots, and on the saddles and bridge contact points. The tremolo bridge has a full-size steel block! and the whole bridge feels pretty heavy duty. I noticed that it is pretty well painted in the trem cavity, the last Fender Player Strat body that I got wasn't even painted at all in the cavity - it looked like it was routed after the body was finished, raw wood in the cavity.
Also noted that the pickup routes and control cavity are painted with sheilding paint.

The tuners are ok, only issue is the high E is pretty stiff, I have some other locking tuners that I may install in the future.
I restrung it with some Ernie Ball .09 Slinkys, I haven't really used Slinkys in years but ran across a great deal on some, so why not? Next change I'll try the std Daddario's.

So, it feels better, but I'm thinking it still needs some tweaking to get the action where I like best.
I'm getting together with the band Saturday so I will get a change to give it a workout.
I checked Amazon again, now ALL the Mi Musi guitars are sold out. Guess they make them in small batches.
I'm interested to see what else they will come out with down the road.

Played the sparkle axe at rehearsal last night, I liked the humbucker sounds and mixing single coil / humbucker, single coil mode alone is kinda thin sounding. But I expected that. There are some humbuckers that sound great split and in single coil mode, Fralin, Tom Anderson and others, if I decided to mod I may change them but for now I'm leaving it stock.
