I'm thinking about getting a 1x12 extension cab. I'm very seriously looking at Port City's OS Wave. I heard one, live, and loved it. They're pretty expensive, though...so I'm also looking at the Lopoline ones.

Lopoline offers the convertible feature. Sounds like a great idea, but I wonder about rattling as the unit gets banged around.

Anybody have experience with a convertible cab?

No experience with any, but Avatar allows you by the plug kit for their oval back cabs to turn it into closed back. Great idea to me and only cost $15 extra if I remember correctly.

    Avatar cabs are quite good.
Lopoline cabs are not quite up to Avatar quality, but significantly cheaper.
