A while back I saw a Tele that had a control plate with a angled switch slot and thought it was really cool.

Anybody know were I can get one?

Is Kinman still marketing these?? I see no evidence of it being available on the Kinman web site/pages.

If you buy the Kinman wiring harness you get one with it. Got one here but I copied the plate in carbon fiber and used that instead. Here's a drawing if you'd like to make your own.

Do you like the angled switch.. it seems like it would make it a lot more natural then the straight slot.

If its anything like the bridge I just got from him you're in for a treat. I asked about these and he is in fact milling them. They're not on his website yet but just send him an email.

Make one... It's just a metal plate with 6 holes and a slot in it...

I have made a few but I never chose to angle the switch. Stainless is a PITA but you can polish it so you don't need plating.

Yep! It does feel much easier to use. Not in the category of "I can't live without it!", but defintely in the "If there's a choice, I'll take it every time!" department. Kinman also bends the switch shaft over at an angle which makes it even more better. I've started doing that on mine as well. Only problem was that I tried it on an Eyb switch the other day and it broke off. Turns out they're cast metal and it doesn't take to bending too well. On the other hand they're really good quality switches so I guess I'll have to leave that out until I figure out an alternative.

Like Mike says, make one, it ain't all that hard! And I love stainless!
