@Peegoo tossed his in, so here comes mine. I was just doing a lesson from my Grant Green book on mine, far far from a schred person here but prefer this type of guitar.

Go for it! I recently wrapped my arthritic fingers around a dinky, and I’m not looking back!

oh yes I will!! I now have a Marshall JCM800 2203/2204 preamp, and to complete the hair band tones, I really need one of these super strats. LOL

I wish I bought earlier though, I missed out on this color, and its nowhere to be found..

I stumbled into owning an RG550 at 15 and I fell in love with the SuperStrat formula, but have been a Tele or Les Paul guy for the last 10 years or so. I no longer cared to shred when I couldn't spend 7 hours a day practicing.

I agree with the other commenters that talked about neck on specs being key. I could care less about having humbuckers, but a flat fretboard, wide nut, skinny neck and jumbo frets is a recipe for a great feeling guitar. The Floyd is not my thing either. That's why when I went to make my "SuperStrat" partscaster, I opted for a lightning fast Charvel style neck but vintage voiced Fralins and a 6-screw trem.

I have one. A Schecter Blood Moon. Great guitar and very versatile. My only beef is the tone pot doesn't do much. It either on or off when you turn the knob.
