The cats or the guitar?
Scatter Lee, your ingenuity blows me completely away. Dang!
I really like that idea
Hows about a home made b- bender in the top one?
If not now, then I wanna see what you could come up with for a bender in a future project.
I was checking out b-benders last week, man them things are crazy
I was thinking maybe something like this, if it can be done with a four way switch
That boy ain't right.
scatter you are the ball's
i removed the .01 cap it was confusing me this should work
damm that was harder than chinese arithmatic
you need to use that left side neck almost 'as is' for the top neck, making it a tele and lap steel doubleneck.
You wanna sell it?
i think a tele on top strat on bottom would be really cool (since they have the same lower horn). maybe something to consider when you're not bound by the $100 limit. would make for a sonic terror with so many single coil options. not to mention if you could integrate elements of both pickguards and control setups, it would really knock people's socks off.
regardless, looking good, this is definitely an interesting build
dood, thanks, thats awesome, will give it a try
I've been quietly amazed... up until now and I can't wait any longer.
This is great work! Wicked ingenuity, man.
I'm not totally low tech
decided to lose the horn so I can get to the 21st fret so I redid it all in Photoshop
I stuck the horn on the bottom of the pickguard
printed it out
and made a couple of templates, I'll find some more wood and start over
found a few parts to play with
and found an awesome blue crab
I'm beat for the day, be back tomorrow
Not as beat as that crab is going to be I bet
wish I had a bucket full
no wait, i cant get new wood, it might be for the challange, guess I'll have to patch up the one i started
That makes great sense IMO, I was thinking it but minding my own biz.
but somebodys already making one of those
Every time I look at your necks, idk man, there's something about them. They just have this really well made, classy look to them. Can't put my finger on what it is though.
