    How about a tone, volume and a 5-way switch?

    1. Top bridge
    2. Top bridge, cocked wah.
    3. Bottom both
    4. Bottom neck
    5. Bottom bridge

    I'd do that, but change it to top wide open and top through the tone pot.

    I have a four way and a five way switch on hand, still looking for a place to put one, but i think I got the pickguard designed

    Nice lines on the guard.

    Right and left brain - it helps when you're firing on both cylinders, eh?

    wiring - if you want more options for the esquire like the cocked wah layout, etc... you could put a 4 way switch on both sections - one of the 4 (i.e. - down position on the esquire) being "off" for each pup.

    You could place them vertically just behind the bridges under the respective center lines - they'd be out of the way when playing, yet could be easily switched with the heel of the hand.
