Great detail, thanks for taking the time.
Wow, just wow. wow.
Gotta agree with all the praise you've gotten, scatter. One thing that blows me away especially is the precision of the work amidst the macgyver-esque riggings. Something to aspire to, that's for sure.
Just tryin' to think of to say, but WOW is the only thing that comes to mind (and where does he get ideas and the time?).
As my last ex-wife was fond of saying, Thanks for sharing.
Dayum!!!! hell yeah!
Great job Scatter Lee. I think the string ferrules as a necklace look great.
Excellent work with the airbrush too.
Two thumbs up and five stars!
Outstanding as always, my friend. Thx for the flamingoes, too!
It's hard to tell from just one picture, but it's definitely not a falcon. My guess is that it's a broad-winged hawk, probably an immature, first-year bird.
...There isn't anything I could write here to explain the admiration I have for this build!...FANTASTIC! AN 11!!
I've watched your thread more than my own....nice work. You are making this extremely difficult to compete. Sorry, but I must pull out all the stops .
remember at the begining of the thread I glood up a second body, I can still make another one
or did I
Thems fightin words!
Hey Kids.... Make Money from home for each mouse click you make in the Tidycaster Thread...Free Guitar Porn... No Serial number needed.
Yeah, this is probably one of the best threads I've ever seen. Period.
this is without a doubt the most impressive thread i've ever read on here. I'm incredibly impressed with your work. You have impressive skills.
But I must say I'm VERY disappointed by one major thing. You didn't make the pickup. Even I can make a pickup.
Maybe the problem is the startup cost is over the $100 budget, or it's a timing thing, either way I would understand.
But, contest or no contest, that Guitar DESERVES a pickup made by YOU!
What is the switch for anyway? Just tone control?
Loved the video...lol. Sounds great! Anyone who says the MIM ceramic pickups don't sound good needs to give that a listen.
I'd still like to see you make a pickup too though. Lets throw the gloves down!
I want too, I'm trying to learn everything I can from preeb's pickup making in his threads, but i got alot to learn, and i dont know where to get the right stuff yet
You should be able to Macguyver it with a coat hanger and a couple of refrigerator magnets!
well ya know It's always good to have a backup, just incase something happins to the first build, you do remember back on page 1 that I made a second body from the same piece of wood, right?
had alittle extra wood stickin out so I cut it with the blade
hammered it off
and screwed it down to the table
you remember this jig dont you, i know you do
still working good
nice new piece of wood
same old template
