Gotta agree with all the praise you've gotten, scatter. One thing that blows me away especially is the precision of the work amidst the macgyver-esque riggings. Something to aspire to, that's for sure.

Great job Scatter Lee. I think the string ferrules as a necklace look great.

Excellent work with the airbrush too.

Two thumbs up and five stars!

It's hard to tell from just one picture, but it's definitely not a falcon. My guess is that it's a broad-winged hawk, probably an immature, first-year bird.

I've watched your thread more than my own....nice work. You are making this extremely difficult to compete. Sorry, but I must pull out all the stops :).

this is without a doubt the most impressive thread i've ever read on here. I'm incredibly impressed with your work. You have impressive skills.

But I must say I'm VERY disappointed by one major thing. You didn't make the pickup. Even I can make a pickup.

Maybe the problem is the startup cost is over the $100 budget, or it's a timing thing, either way I would understand.

But, contest or no contest, that Guitar DESERVES a pickup made by YOU!

Loved the video...lol. Sounds great! Anyone who says the MIM ceramic pickups don't sound good needs to give that a listen.

I'd still like to see you make a pickup too though. Lets throw the gloves down!

well ya know It's always good to have a backup, just incase something happins to the first build, you do remember back on page 1 that I made a second body from the same piece of wood, right?

    well...

    here goes
had alittle extra wood stickin out so I cut it with the blade

    hammered it off

and screwed it down to the table
