I have GOT to build one of those radius jigs..

This doing it by hand is for the birds!!!

i marked the fret slots with my hacksaw

cut just deep enough to mark them

Your builds are very fun to follow, Scatter Lee. This Blackguard will be amazing.

I'd like to suggest another idea for a future "vintage" build. I think you would get this one perfectly. It's probably an Ohio thing.

thought about it before, never found a good pic to get the duct tape pattern

i use the neck template screw hole to figure tuner placement

and marked them

i'm waiting on some pickguard material that i will use for the fret dots also, and i have a body blank on the way

Howdy Shane! This thing looks SWEET!!! Can I add one thing? The headstock to FB radius on the 50's necks is very tight. The radius you have is more correct for a slab style neck. I'll add a picture from my phone. Looks great, very clean. The SV burst must be a sweet axe.
