That looks really nice with oil.

FYI, they removed the rule that you have to have the proof of start in all the pictures. Doesn't hurt though.

Thanks - I took a peek at it a few hours ago and realized I didn;t wipe away all the excess, so some minor sanding may be needed.

I remembered the proof rule after, but since I am pushing the time limit I fig, why not show it? :)

    Thanks!

    Neck part 1 -
Lined up for frets - [IMG]
And I discover that my stewmac saw won't fit in my miter box... so I use last years saw to make the marks then go back over them with the stewmac... eek!

Stew mac 6 in line block works great - just really clunky at first but it's nice to not be eyeballing everything...

    Thinned the headstock
    [IMG]

    Sanded the transition down
    [IMG]

And finally actually installed the truss rod and the skunk strip... yeah I did everything backwards... :) Now I am waiting a few hours for the glue to set
    [IMG]

To do today - shave the skunk stripe down, radius, install frets, shave neck, 2nd coat of tung oil on body and coat on headstock...

And had a few minutes so I wired up everything. This will be a single humbucker with parallel, split and series.

Done! The intonation is off and the nut is questionable :) But it is a thousand times better than last year!
