    Extrude out the a transition curve into a curved surface

    trim back the peghead lines to that surface

    I added a line across there and made the top of the peghead surface.

    I went back and pasted in the outline of the peghead on the bottom...I deleted it earlier.

    I split those lines apart because I needed the parts highlighted in yellow

    Then I extruded those lines into the side surfaces of the peghead transitions

    I drew in an arc to the fretboard where the back of the neck starts to transition to the peghead

    I drew another arc to the other end of the transition from the fretboard

    I put a cutting plane through the neck shaft surfaces to split them at the transition point curve

    I split and deleted the short section

    Now I create a surface from all those lines...first one side
