I'm with you on that, in fact on my most recent recordings I went full "Eighties bad quack" using my Ibanez Master series Stereo chorus pedal through my Fender Deluxe 85 solid state amp.

Lots of people think the Klon is over hyped and overrated- but I’d buy one if I had the money :)

I've bought a few Bullet Squier teles to modify and otherwise mess with, and one of of the cheap bastards has a neck pickup I cannot bring myself to replace. Is it actually any good? I dunno. But every time I play it I go Geez, this sounds good.

Well, if you stay on a forum long enough everything you like will be disparaged at some point.

Plugging my guitar direct into a PA board. I like the hyper-clean sound and the wide sonic spread. And in a way, I like not using an amp.

I’ve had a couple of plywood-bodied ceramic-humbuckered guitars that sounded great to me. One was a Stinger Tele copy. The other is my current Squier Bullet Special.

I like solid state amps. When I compare a solid state amp to a tube amp, I generally like the solid state amp better.

I like pickups adjusted high ( and poles low if they're adjustable ).

There needs to be a certain amount of rude fatness and edge that I can control with the tone control or my fingers.

I liked chorus in the 80s and 90s, but then I gave my old boss CE-2 to my brother, who btw, never used it. Fast forward to his moving to Oregon a couple years ago. I found the old boss pedal, covered with dust, in a box of old cables. I never said anything to my brother, I just took it, cleaned it up, plugged it into my old hot rod deluxe. It still sounds great, now I just put it in the pedal chain, so I can hit it when I want the shimmery vibe.

I like crate amps. Specifically the tube amps- vintage club, palomino, and the V-series before Loud Technologies acquired the brand.

I like poly against my forearm... I just like it?
I also like it when it takes a ding and no impression.
    Beautiful Poly!

I like the sound of new strings. Many people don't.
