Comes a Time is the ninth studio album by Canadian singer-songwriter Neil Young, released by Reprise Records in October 1978.
Its songs are written as moralizing discourses on love's failures and recovering from worldly troubles.

Dedicated to our lovers and peoples looking for love, especially in our troubled world. May the precious love of a child be felt by all peoples.

Choose to love!!!

Feedback is much appreciated.

I'm a big Neil Young fan since I bought the LP 'Harvest'.
Not familiar with this one but another great rendition my friend.

I can really hear the passion in your singing, Rene. Beautiful singing and interpretation of a Neil Young song to remember. Love your introductory words!

I think it is my favorite Neil album.... this is one of his best songs. About 6 months after the album came out, I went with my then gf to take her dog to the vet. Her vet was in La Honda, Ca. While we were waiting, Neil came in with his dog, very worried, he was afraid tne dog had eaten something he shouldn't have (chocolate)...

He and I sat quietly for about 10 minutes (I was 19 maybe) finally he mentioned how it was cold in the mornings lately and I agreed. It was so hard not to be a fan, but I didn't mention that I knew who he was. Finally, my gf came out with her dog, she was among the happiest, most comfortable people I have ever known.

She beamed at Neil and said, 'your puppy is so cute!' and then she said, nodding at me, 'He may think he is your biggest fan, but I am actually your biggest fan... he can play the whole Comes a Time record for me though!'

Neil looked at me and smiled, very quiet and said, 'I'm glad you like the record'. 'It is the greatest'.

The vet came out and all attention was on dogs.

Love your version!

Love this album, maybe one of Neil's 'prettiest'? Great harmonies from Nicolette Larson, Emmylou?
" Comes A Time"
" Look Out For My Love" - love it!

I know it's a cover, but "Four Strong Winds" is beautiful
