I think I heard that the Japanese are close to being able to produce unlimited hair follicles to transplant. They are supposed to be a couple years away from being available. Good news for the guys that don't have enough donner hair or might run out down the track if they need a top up.
YouTube has a few guys that have documented the whole process of before during and after their transplants. They went to Turkey and got them done for something like 2k. Going by their videos it doesn't come without some pain and discomfort though and it looks pretty noticeable for a good few months.

I have the opposite problem. The older I get, the hairier I get. Keeping it under control is a pain but, thankfully, as I'm grey, a couple of days stubble doesn't show (much) and I keep my hair short anyway.

You got what you got. Everyone who goes for the "Walnut Whip" / comb-over look just seems to draw attention to the fact.

Personally, I'd just have it cut short and live with it. I don't see any issue with it - but I know it's a problem for some.

Speaking of Bill Wyman, by his recent appearance I think it's safe to say he was using a little hairpiece action at the end of his performing career.

I just comb mine straight back and wear a cap to hide the "five head"(more skin than a forehead)

I have so many ball caps, golf hats, hat hats that were given to me, I will NEVER run out of hats. I have one for every occasion. The other day when my son and I were working on his Vette, I wore my NASCAR cap! Just about my favorite is my black Happy, Happy, Happy, Duck Dynasty ball cap that my wife got for a quarter at a garage sale, My dorkiness is 100% complete when I'm wearing that baby.

I've been thinking about buzzing mine off this summer, maybe I can get creative and just buzz the top off, and leave the rest grow. I think I can muster up some extra ear hair too, that's always a plus!

Grow your eyebrows out and comb them back over and it will give the appearance of a late teens early 20's Mediterranean guys hairline. It will also have a faux facelift affect. Top the look off with a dark tan, some gold chains and a pair of speedo's. Sit back and wait for the ladies to come running.

Nobody ever had a worse looking comb-over than Zero Mostel, and it worked for him:

The problem is at my age when the ladies get after you, they are hobbling and dragging their sister behind them on a gunny sack.

Sometimes, you just have to head east to find the answer.

Women know the best way to hide thinning or balding heads. I was surprised to find out that thinning and balding is also common in women. They just know how to hide it better.

What would you prefer to have as your identifier?

    "The guy with the comb-over."
    or
    "The bald guy."

...notice how the first choice isn't "the guy with a full head of hair"...

Guys that lose their hair in front are thinkers
Guys that lose their in back are lovers
Guys that lose hair both front and back just think they are lovers

    Sorry about that.

Live with it, age gracefully. Boss where I used to work resorted to an aerosol product that basically painted his head! I just resign myself to that's the way it goes.
