Maybe a bit late, but I can vouch for Micah's shop...his crew did the absolutely stellar finish job on FrankenTele here: http://www.tdpri.com/forum/tele-home-depot/493020-thoughts-build.html

I handed him a bare body, bare AllParts neck (they removed the silver fret wire and installed the gold colored), and a box of parts. They did a truly superb job.

I was thinking to stop by BoB tonight. Will any TDPRI'ers be there?

And, p.s., I, too, wish to play with somebody/anybody

    Aw shoot Greg.

Gary and I are taking the week off from open mic while we spend time working up our sets for later this month. Ordinarily I'd meet you over there and visit or play for a bit but I am worn out today. Too little sleep these last two nights.

Maybe we can do something next week and if you want a partner to play along with whatever you decide to do I'm game. Just tell me what it is before next week so I can work my guitar part out but you have to do the singing so you pick the tunes.:D

Yeah, I saw your schedule (I read things!) and thought you would not be there. I will hold off, too, then. I'll work on sone stuff. Thanks for the reply!

Just a reminder for the jam gang and others. Gary and I will be doing our duo thing at The BoB (Brews on Broadway) this coming Wednesday June 17th and the following Wednesday June 24th from 7-9:30 PM. The BoB is located a block south of Hampden on Broadway (of course) in the spot that used to house Acoustic Music Revival.

We'll have a very eclectic bunch of tunes to play I promise and we're bringing some of our home brew "band in a box" tracks to play over so they'll be some Rock, some Soul, some Swing and a dose of Americana thrown in as well. The main objective (other than to have a blast) is to avoid being slotted in any one style. Whatever we haven't covered yet we will eventually because we're on a mission from God and Wolfman Jack.

There's never a cover, the craft brews are tasty, and so are the tunes. Come on out and spend a couple of early evening hours with us. You'll still be home before 10:00PM.

Great to hear Don. We could use a few butts in seats and some moral support for this debut engagement. Gary and I are looking forward to doing some gigs together again. It's been awhile.

An excellent evening was had by all at the BoB. Very cool place, great beer and of course outstanding entertainment! I think I'll plan to be there next week too. Sorry I was a bit late Soulman but we got stuck in the Qdoba line for buy one get one free burritos.

Happy to say I was there as well. Paul's a great singer. They worked hard to put this together.

But, I gotta say fellas, at the end of the day, you're gonna want MORE PAUL!

Turn it up! Guitar and vocals.

I know you have another day scheduled ... a week from now? Oh, I am going to travel the next day, so not sure.

    I appreciate it Paul!

LOL, we're even brother. I can't play like you can. I don't know how to play that many notes all in order and one at a time. I can sing 'em but I can't play 'em.

We may change the date we had originally planned for next Wednesday to July 6th. It's the BoB second anniversary party and they asked us if we'd like to do that day instead. Will keep you all posted.
