Here we go guys. We did it once...We'll do it again.
What did I miss?
I'm in Colorado. I'm a mile high, maybe a bit more. What will we do again, and can I play?
Hello from Highlands Ranch. Is it time for another Colorado TDPRI jam?
Roxborough here, just south of Chatfield.
Hey Russ--You talking west side of Denver or West side of the state?
I'm up here in Gunbarrel if there are others lurking about. I tend to play mostly surf or blues-rock and prefer the Jazzmaster for surf.
I am also starting to build guitars, but at the moment I am slowed by few tools and chilly weather.
I'm in. South Denver for me. My place would be a posibility? Carl and Paul said they would be interested. Colorado would be too.
Hey, another one in Gunbarrel. I starting playing again after many years, still a hack, but at least I'm back.
Old Englewood area for me and an experienced bassist and vocalist as well as a guitarist if a group jam ever needs one or a band needs a sub or player to fill an emergency need.
Actually, I'm on the west side of Colorado Springs!
I'm in if gitold would be gracious enough to host in his cool jam room, I'd love to attend if no one minds an out-of-practice mediocre guitar/bass player. I have young kids so free time is rare but I could sneak away for a few hours on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon with some prior notice.
Great. I knew there had to be more Telecaster guys around here than I've met, judging from Denver craigslist ads I see from guys who obviously know Teles.
I know and have played several times with another TDPRI member who lives in Highlands Ranch. I'm hoping he'll see this thead and say hello one of these days.
I've recently acquired most of a drum kit, but am missing some key pieces - snare, hi-hat, kick drum pedal, and cymbals. Once I get everything together (it will be a while), perhaps I could move some furniture in the basement and host a full-scale jam, similar to what Carl did a year or two ago in his great basement in Longmont. Mine isn't that large but could work for a once-a-year jam, perhaps.
Lots of possibilities here. I'd sure like to play informally every now and then. I can't do the regular band thing these days but I sure miss playing with other people.
Sounds like we have the makings of a little group jam if we can put one together some nice afternoon this spring. I'll keep a watch out here to see what develops or one of you can send me a PM. Gpasq I just sent a response to your PM. Thanks for getting in touch.
I'm in Superior. I'd like to join.
A club all our own?
I'm up for it again. I got four players from work going and am working on two more. We have open positions and I told the boss we need to fill it with someone who plays drums and someone who sings (along with being Unix Admins of course ).
I do have a bit more gear (pa, power amp, board, bass amp, and mic) so less lugging.
Coworkers are coming up next Saturday to jam. New bassman and guitar players so we're all at the same basic beginner level
But I'll drive too if we head to gitold's place.
Hey, count me in. My drummer may be available again. Not sure about the bass player.
I can cover bass for us Paul and I can have my rig there for those who'd like to sit in on bass. Gitold is only a few minutes from my place and he and I can get together and work out some jam material. But if your bassist wants to come down that's great too. Tell him it's a lighter load in since he won't need his amp.
Count me in, however it works out. Love to bring a lap steel too, on which I can scritch out some slidey out-of-tune stuff.
