Man, already some good games to watch! My boys from Syracuse are not pretenders at 4-0 and will make a bowl game this year. Woohoo! I watched Clemson vs Wake and that was a good game. Miami got waxed by MTSU and holy moly Baylor, Georgia, Michigan all looking in their rear view mirrors......escapay (Dory) Ohio State, Alabama, LSU....SEC looking tough as usual plus recruits lining up for next year.
On another note my HS is #1 in the country and will face off against #2 in 2 weeks. St John Bosco LA vs Mater Dei. High school football is good too.

My Spartans just stunk up the field. Pathetic performance today. I don't Michigan stays in BCS contention. They just had fourth straight home games. Today was a their first Big 10 opponent and they won by just one touchdown. They only play two ranked teams all year. They will probably lose to both of them.

I love college football. And has some good games to watch today. This is the best time of year for me and it gets better with basketball not too far around the corner.

Illinois and Arizona State fan here. UI is getting better and more competitive under Bielema. And I feel like a weight has been lifted off the ASU program with Herm Edwards departing.

B-A-Y-L-O-R Baylor Bears Fight

The Mrs. Floor is still upset about her Longhorns.

Now watching K State and OU. I love Deuce Vaughn. He’s from the area and my son played against him since grade school. Love to see a local standout.

Couldn't believe UGA looked mortal--and against Kent State?? I can understand taking them for granted for the first half... but in the second half, would have thought the Bulldogs would lay a 50 spot on them.

USC survived the Beavers in Corvalis.

Tennesse beat the Gators for only the second time in the last 18 years. The teams combined for 58 first downs and nearly 1200 yards total offense.

I've long been an Auburn fan but have sort of drifted from following them much anymore, they always have so much scandal and turmoil going on. And now on top of that, they suck at football lol They were very lucky to beat Missouri yesterday, and I didn't even really care one way or the other.

My other team is CU-- probably the worst team in any of the Power Five schools. They are absolutely dreadful. They've been completely shellacked in every game they've played this year, with many more woodsheddings to come. I can at least take perverse pleasure in seeing Mel Tucker getting his @ss whipped at Mich State (he bailed on CU hours after attending a fan/booster event, pumping up the CU football program, talking about his commitment to Boulder etc etc--all this, only 14 months after taking the job).

Getting into the meat of conference play now, get your popcorn...

I am a Syracuse guy too. Nice to see them steal a couple close games. Last year if you recalll they lost 3 games in a row on the final play of the game. The team plays hard but is undersized on both lines, and does not have the depth to overcome the injuries they have already faced. Shrader as QB is much improved from last year, so that will make a big difference. Hopefully they can get the running game going at some point. Would be great if they can get to 7 wins, with all their toughest games still ahead.

At 4-0 Syracuse is obviously going to a bowl. Only have to win 2 of their remaining 8 games to qualify, and next week they play FCS Wagner.

On the other hand, they haven’t beaten a good team and, after Wagner, they may drop four straight to NC State, Clemson, Notre Dame and Pitt.

Virginia is a lousy team with a good, if erratic, QB. That game Friday was extremely ugly, both teams looked incompetent for the most part. I’m not a Cuse hater, that’s just the way it looks.

Anyone else watch the Florida Tennessee game and can explain the defensive delay of game at the end? I get it If the defense prevents the ball from being set, but both teams were lined up and the play clock went to zero.

My niece is a freshman at Clemson, but two of my cousins went to Wake Forest. Tough one to pick yesterday! (I went to Vanderbilt . . . enough said).
That Clemson vs Wake game was exciting. Not much in the secondaries but man big plays. I am a Syracuse guy and I don't like Clemson. But the Clemson QB Uiagalelei and receiver Collins both went to my high school. We have a big alumni association so it was cool to see them excel.

My mother and aunt went to Syracuse (where they met. My aunt married my Dad's brother). I'm still getting used to them being in the ACC, even though it's been a while now. All this conference realignment is for the birds, as far as I'm concerned. But to be fair, the old Big East football conference was terrible, so I get it as far as teams like Syracuse and Boston College are concerned. But I miss the old days of Big East basketball.

LOL. I heard some loud, joyous shouts from my neighbor's house yesterday. I assumed that Clemson had done something good...

Miz Diane enjoyed the AL v Vandy game...except for the commentators, who are yammering constantly. It was a W, but we get into the tougher opponents starting next week...

'Bama could've started its third-stringers and still crushed Vandy.

Alright Syracuse has a bye week (Wagner coming for the Staten Island Bowl) and who has their team worked up for the weekend. Upsets? Hidden agendas? Coaches on the hot seat? Ian interference?
