Who doesn't hate the Yankees besides their fans?:p

Penn State got an old-fashioned *ss kicking from Michigan last week. We'll see if they can pull up their skirts and hang on against Minnesota.

That would be the Texas Longhorns.

I would venture to disagree with Guitarzan on this one, the Lohngorns have pure hatred for Aggies. You should have heard the local sport talk when they joined the SEC! It was pretty wild.

Knock 'em down drag 'em out going on at Penn State vs. Minnesota. I have a new nickname for Minnesota: The Golden "Cheapshot" Go-fers.

I don't watch college football (I am Canadian) but just watched Georgia vs. Tennessee. THAT was an exciting game. Two touchdowns in the last 20 seconds.

Well, he is a big name. It seems the UT booster like that. I kind of agree with your take.

The 'Ville gettin' worked like a rented mule.

I'm thinking, not ready for prime time.

Guess we'll see if they can rebound in the 2nd half, but I don't think so.

This Clemson/Louisville game has 'down to the last possession' written all over it.

The blocked PAT could loom huge tho.

I think Clemson's defense is out of gas.

    We'll see after this punt.

Colorado Buffaloes 47, Oregon State 6. Buffaloes might not be a doormat for the Pac 12 this year. We'll see.

One thing's for sure I think we're watching two legitimate top-five teams.

Stanford, the class of the Pac 12 (and resident bullies) has a great team. I have a lot of respect for that program and their coach.

Yeah....Washington is overrated.....the coach has said the Huskies had no business being ranked so high in pre season polls.

As far as being tested.....Hmm, let's see.....Washington scores 44 points and Stanford avoids a **** out and complete embarrassment by putting a late 6 on the board.

The Huskies just didn't beat the Cardinal, they beat the ever lovin' snot out of them in every aspect of the game! The only thing close about the game was time of possession.

Total yardage? UW 424, Stanford, 213. Stanford had no answer for the Dawgs swarming D. When you hold the Cards vaunted rushing offense (and the incredible Chris Mccaffrey) to a net of 29 yards in 30 carries, that's a huge statement. Of course, 8 sacks of Cardinal QB's don't help your rushing stats!

Jake Browning (one of the best QB's in the country) had a QB rating of 97.4 for the game (it was like 211 at halftime!) while Ryan Burns and Keller Chryst managed a rating of 15.....yes, 15 between them.

The lopsided stats don't begin to tell the tale though. Stanford was out coached, out played, out classed and out of the game 5 minutes in. I don't think Stanford over looked the Huskies or thought a win was automatic, they just ran into a young, talented, hungry team that has yet to reach their potential.

The game reminded me of the Huskies 1991 game against Southern Cal. SC was the big boys on the block and had all world roboQB QB Todd Marinovich. After the Huskies totally demolished them 31-0, Marinovich uttered the famous quote "All I saw was purple"! Dawgs went 12-0 that year.....Hmmmm
