Dono:

I heard your band mentioned on the radio: 92.5 FM. I thought to myself, "HEY! I know one of those guys!."

I appreciate you coming out to our gig in Allen/Fairview. I don't think I have anything to do on Saturday. I don't usually get out that far from home on a Saturday night (got a church dig every Sunday morning). But I may try to get out that way since you were nice enough to come hear the mess I made.

If I can't make it out, good luck with it and give us a report.

BTW, Tolbert's chili is my ALL TIME FAVORITE! I have a couple of thread on TDPRI about Frank Tolbert and his chili. I am so glad to hear that they have reopened again.

Hope to see you again, Roger

You guys were great! I don't know how you got that many guys on that tiny stage! You were certainly burdened with a less than optimal sound system too:)

We're gonna start trying to get some gigs up in Plano/Allen. Playing down in Deep Ellum and East Dallas is an 80 mile round trip for this ole' boy!

Grapevine's a good haul, too. Texas...one of the few places where distance is measured in how long it takes you to get somewhere vs. how many miles it is.

Hope to see you there!

Dono!

You guys were great last night. I LOVE your song selection. Moody Blues, Paul McCartney, Neil Young, Steely Dan, even the Traveling Willburys. I have not been so impressed with a local band in a while. Did you know the man running stage lights? He did a good job of keeping the visual interesting as well.

I asked Jack to give me his contact name at Tolberts. He said he could email it to me. If you need my email again, just send me a PM.

Keep p the great work!

Glad you were able to make it!

Hey Roger! Thank for your kind comments and for coming out. Remember, let me know when Buffalo Blues is playing again.

The second set was a BLAST! We were supposed to shut 'er down at midnight but they kept saying just one more...we stopped around 1:00 ;-) Makes for a late night (early morning?) Wish you could have stayed. Tolbert's is a pretty good venue. Lot of the great local bands play there - Voodoo Blue, Petty Theft, Hard Night's Day, etc. Paul and his wife, Kathleen (owners) are really great folks. They have graciously booked us 6 times over the next several months. We really enjoy playing there. If you live in the metroplex and enjoy live music it's a must visit.

And did I mention the food? GREAT FOOD! But then, I know you've got a thing for Tolbert's chili :) It's the real stuff.
