Only listened to a couple, but a lotta research going on. It’ll be worth the wait.
Seconded (or third...)
So glad that others like c&r too.

Yep....that is a classic. And if ain't I'll kiss your ***.
I just listened to the one on Mooney while on a road trip after finding this thread.
Well done and if you listen to the liner notes you know why it takes so long. Quite crazy, really! Interesting to explain the production cycle of it all.
I've been following on Twitter and Reddit, and it looks like at long last, Season 2 will be dropping this April. I've been re-listening to my favorite (aw, who am I kidding, they're all my favorite) Season 1 episodes in preparation.
There were early rumors that Season 2 was going to center around George Jones, but I think that's been largely debunked.
I do hope there will be a season 2. I love reading the transcript stories and I think Cole is extremely intelligent and this is his calling. Man, can he do the research! I love the truth even if it is dark or not as shiny as we would all love it to be. You receive a very good understanding of how the Biz actually is and how each talent/ legend is one in a gazillion.
I think Cole is bad a$$ in what he delivers!
Ill check it out.
Listening now, to the Doug and Rusty Kershaw story. Got to see those guys long ago, have always been curious about them. Thanks for the tip!
Glad to hear Season 2 is coming out - thanks for the tip.
I don't think I would even have known about this podcast if it weren't for another thread here on the TDPRI.
Already bumped back. One of the posts I'd seen on the Subreddit or something said April 1.
What is "Two things that used to get you laid at Gilley's the fastest", Alex?
Can not wait for season #2!
Just read the second installment of season 2. Both stories from season 2 are good, real good!
I was expecting something about Glen Campbell with that thread title
Just started the Saturday episode. Fabulous.
I read the Owen Bradley transcript. Although he spends a lot of time hacking on Chet Atkins's legacy with a meat axe, it's very well crafted writing. Thanks for the heads up on this.
Just my opinion but the fact that Chet built RCA Studio with his and other local money then leased it to RCA for twenty years makes him a very smart Mota-scooter. Of course, also a a great player and smart enough to sign Waylon Jennings and many others. So yeah, Owen Bradly is cool but Chet is the M-A-N.
I can't figure out how to download his Season 2 shows as .wav or .mp3 files to my hard drive. I think I remember doing that with Season 1 shows, as that's how I usually listen to podcasts, Old Time Radio, live shows from archive.org, etc.
Does anyone see a downloading link there I may have missed?
