Maybe because he had tried before, and it didn't work?

I don't buy into the murder conspiracy, but I do believe that the crazy lady put snakes in his head and drove him to suicide.

Yes we all felt that way when we were young. I risked my life surfing in known shark areas. Kurt, however, went those extra steps and died as a result. I wonder , sometimes. how much, more would have gained from the 27 club. So sad.

Of course we all feel invincible at 27 or so and have our Demons - even today.
But taking heroin is a sure way of getting to Heaven than anything else. I just don't understand it.

Yes but by watching a documentary which takes a VERY biassed look at what happened you sure aren't doing him justice.

we will never know and Cortney is not telling, sad story for sure , plus we dont have all the details , so speculation arises .I can attest that using his drug of choice to get there would have crossed his mind first . I'm not passing judgement here , I was just not overly fond of his body of work and dont see the historical value for his guitar, just my opinion thats all.

I was refering to my older brother in that comment from post #36

It's funny, I enjoy Nirvana's music but to me it's always been about the sum of their parts. I was never particularly drawn to Kurt's guitar playing on a technical level but more to the way it fit within the context of the band and the songs.

I would have bid for the cardigan, but I'm right handed.
