    I've not done that. But I did use a quarter once........ Wouldn't recommend it.

    A friend of mine was chemically altered one night and used a chocolate bar for a pick. That got messy fast.

    Yup, but not since I was in kid living at my folk's.
    I'm addicted to Dunlop EJ picks.
    "Bread clips" do indeed work as strap locks, but I like Grolsh beer cap washers better.

    likewise, used bread bag clips when nothing else was around, but I usually had plenty that I cut out of plastic milk jugs.

    ...and no, that's not a reference to hollywood acting equipment either. Just settle down, y'all.

    Just the plastic jug, you could cut out 10, 20, 30 picks, might last a month or so. You could select different parts of the jug for different thickness, etc.
