Could be campfire, impromptu party performance etc. but at some time we have all been guilty of the most heinous of crimes...using a bread bag clip for a pick in a pinch. Line up, hang your head and own up.:D

No but that is genius. I have used a key chain type of store discount card in a pinch at church one Sunday morning.

I've used a cigarette lighter for a slide (and a bottle opener)

Yep, when I first started playing in the seventies, I used to lose picks all the time, and I did resort to the bread clip once or twice. They don't flex enough, though.

I never used one, but thanks for the tip. Whenever Ol' Stringbanger found himself picless, he would use his thumb, or switch to finger style picking. But, it is as rare as a redneck with all his teeth that I am without a pic, for I always carry extra.

A friend of mine keeps extra picks in his hair, in a spot above his ear where the hair is pulled tight for his ponytail.

I have found that a bread bag clip is almost completely ineffective as a substitute for toilet paper.:oops::oops:

I've used pens and ponytails/rubber bands for capos and I've used my phone for slide.

    Make it happen!:D

Simple pick control...feel the groove and you'll know when to dig in.

Yup, you have to get wholemeal bread clips though. No tone in the others.

TD? I have two simple questions for you...

    1. Are absolutely certain that you quit drinking?

    2. If so, did you possibly substitute something even much more creative?
