What have mods let Pedal/Effects Owners Clubs turn into a low-rent knock off of the Stomp Box? Currently 15 of the most recent 20 threads are off-topic. It used to be a cool way to get to know specific products; now it's useless.

As much as I dread the place, The Gear Page is still the best place for talk about pedals and effects.
Sure, takes quite a bit of time to weed through the crap, but there is a wealth of info there if you take the time.
