Bought one from a friend and TDPRI member a couple of months ago and just put a Cavalier Lion in it this weekend. Black Paulownia body with a maple neck and so light it feels like it could float away. (sorry no pics just yet)

This my first experience with an Esquire and now I know what the buzz is all about. They're a gas to play. I find myself playing different licks and in a slightly different way just because of the difference in it over my Teles.

...'bout time I added mine to this illustrious list.

There's just something about that word on the headstock that makes it oh-so-different than my other Teles? Hard to explain but easy to feel & hear when she's in your hands.

Great looking guitar, and really superb composition and photography.

I know a good photo when I see one, so why can't I do them as well? :)

Definitely one of THE coolest I've seen! I'd love to know more about it. You know, why is it all black? What's up with the key on the headstock and she obviously had some sentimental Pinto thing goin' on. Very cool!

Thanks! This guitar has it's own post. It's actually FOR me, but it's in memory of her. If it was for her it would be covered in gold leopard print!

    what a beauty.
is it necessary to get a stronger, higher output neck pup for stealth?

question for you stealth esquire guys--does it make a difference to remove the chrome cover while under the esquire pg?

Seems to me leaving it on would make it more muffled.
