Still remember her from "The Last Picture Show", which is my all-time favorite movie (I've seen it around 40 times...)

Young Frankenstein is probably our family's #1 comedy movie, and one of those movies that fans know every funny line.
    Cloris was great of course.

I think the last performance we've seen her in, is one episode of The Office where the cast is watching a soap opera show online, and Cloris Leachman and Jack Black are having a 'just wrong' affair. Funny and 'oogie!'

    RIP Ms. Leachman

She was a great actress and a wonderful human being.
I first became aware of her on the Mary Tyler Moore Show.
I loved that show, and her character.
I then saw her in Young Frankenstein, another of her iconic roles.
She lived a long and achievement filled life, bringing joy to all who watched her.
Pure class, with a wicked sense of humor.
    I’ll never forget her.
    RIP and thank you, ma’am.

For my generation she's remember as the polonese grand ma in Malcolm in the middle. (Which I think is less popular in the USA than in France were it was really a thing).

It might be mine too. She’s amazing in that role.

Several years ago, when I was still working, I was staying at the Adams Mark hotel in Buffalo, NY. As I was standing in line to check in, Cloris Leachman and Shirley Jones walked right by me. I don’t remember what they were in town for.

    RIP Cloris :(

Fantastic movie. She deserved 10 oscars for the job she did in that movie. I guess they could only give her the one.

Loved her in Young Frankenstein, Malcolm in the Middle and as Nurse Diesel in High Anxiety. One of the funniest people of all time.
