You said quick, right?
Two pieces of bread, a sausage and onions on a grill or B-B- Q
BBQ is hard to screw up. I think Texas Roadhouse is OK and I'm a big fan of pulled pork.
I'm not sure I'd agree that it is hard to screw up. I will admit that even screwed-up BBQ is usually worth eating, but it can definitely be over cooked, under cooked, or otherwise screwed up!
Except it's not sweet in the flavor sense of the word. But The. Best. BBQ. Anywhere.
No one/nowhere else competes.
To the OP, do you have Rudy's? Not anything close to "real" BBQ, but pretty good in its own way. I particularly like their turkey. Mmmmmm
In Arizona....I would head here:
2030 E Rio Salado Pkwy
Tempe, AZ 85281
Nobody asks for barbecue that's actually sweet... except, maybe, a crazy person.
I gave him the benefit of the doubt.
Out of the chains mentioned in the OP, I'll maintain that Famous Daves does a very good job
Peruvian dry rub BBQ brisket, fatty brisket, BBQ isn't supposed to be healthy food, on a yeast roll, you have to be able to taste the yeast, with green sauce, an amazing concoction of green chili peppers, mint, oregano, and salt. McRib? You're kidding me, right?
BBQ is overrated.
Worth a try!
I lived in Tucson for 6 years in late 90's early 00's. Were not to many of at all. I grew up in Missouri and now live in South Carolina. Been spoiled with many styles of bbq! Love them all. Your best bet is to get some good pork shoulder or beef brisket and slow cook it yourself. Smoked is best. Lot of recipes and ways to do it. Use Google for all that. Don't skimp on the sauce. Everyone has their personal preferences here. So many options. It's very rewarding done correctly. How bout some havalina. Lol! Never tried it. But man here there is great bbq all over the place! I think some places will ship it to you next day of you are willing to pay a lot. Anyways I'm getting hungry talking about all this. I wish there was pig pickin somewhere! Whole hogs cooked all day. Hard to beat!
I live in Alabama. What’s a McRib? Doesn’t sound like Barbeque to me.
Ate at this one in Mesa, no idea if it's close to you.
Good grief, a MC Rib? I think any of the above including a tub of Curly's BBQ from the grocery store would top a MC Rib. I doubt if I would make a special trip to Texas or North Carolina for a BBQ sandwich though.
