I need to get that McRib out of my brain.

Now I need some delicious BBQ in my belly. Where can I get the most delicious BBQ sandwich?
I'm in Arizona. I have Famous Daves, Texas Roadhouse, Carvers, Cracker Barrel and others.

Where do I go for that sweet sweet BBQ fix?

If you have actually stomached more than one bite of a McRib.... Your favorite BBQ sauce on virtually ANYTHING (even cardboard) should put you in a decent place.

Drive to Texas and go to Kent Black’s BBQ, either the original in Lockhart, or the one in San Marcos.
I’m a long time BBQ lover, and I’ve found nothing that even remotely compares.
    Best brisket on the planet!
I like the lean stuff best.

Arizona is a fairly large State.

'Quick' might be relative to where exactly you reside there.

I found Satchmo's BBQ in Flagstaff to be a top notch barbeque and Cajun/Creole restaurant.
Their regular pork barbeque sandwich goes for $6.50, and you can get a large sammich for nine bucks.

In Phoenix, you can't go wrong with either Little Miss BBQ or Bobby Q's.
    Great restaurants, fabulous menu selections.

When in Tucson, I am fond of visiting Holy Smokin Butts BBQ for lunch.
Their mac & cheese makes an excellent compliment to their pork bbq sandwich.

Gunny's Barbeque is the best to be found in Sierra Vista (near Fort Huachuca).
Louie sets his BBQ food truck near the Dollar General on Huachuca Drive on Fridays, and in front of West End Pawn on Saturdays.
Great food, and you feel good knowing that you are buying from a Marine Corps Veteran!

Yuma, a place I visit often, is noteworthy for Suttons BBQ and Soul Food.
Awesome chow, and their ribs are the best in town.
Their basic BBQ sandwich is great, and I like to put the cole slaw on it.
If you are feeling up to it, try the BBQ Shack Brisket Burger.
A half pound hamburger with all the fixings, with a slab of brisket on there to top it off.
    So goood!!

    :)

Big Tex in Willcox is worth the drive, wherever you are in the state. Don’t be put off by the exterior which, last time I was there, was an actual train car fused with a double wide trailer.

I don’t know what kind of mojo they’ve got working out back with the cooker, but the meat is extraordinary.

Where in Arizona are you? If you're in the valley, you have Lil Miss Barbeque, voted top 5 in the nation for Texas bbq outside of Texas (brisket is to die for) on University around 40th St, and Texas BBQ House in South Phoenix has a slamming Texas Po"Boy with brisket, pulled pork, and a hot link. They also have a really tasty brisket. Go early because they sell out.

For more of an experience go to Joe's Real BBQ in Gilbert. The food is great and the atmosphere puts the icing on the cake. Think Arizona farming in the 1930's-40's. I think Lil Miss and Texas BBQ House edge them out just a bit in the smoked meat department but these guys do a great job. They have a big line of excellent sides and brew their own root beer too.

Flip's BBQ in Wilmington NC was the best. Vinegar based sauce with shredded pork on a hamburger bun with coleslaw. A side of hush puppies and a Pepsi. Heaven. They closed a few years ago.

Put a 2 1/2 lb brisket in a Crock Pot. Add one 12 oz can of ginger ale and two packets of McCormack BBQ seasoning. Let it cook on low for seven hours. When done, shred with a fork and slather in your favorite BBQ sauce. Make your sandwich and freeze the rest. You will have quick, easy, and delicious BBQ sandwiches anytime you get the jones!

Quick? Ok, grill, some boneless chicken thighs; everybody loves chicken thighs, they're impossible to mess up. Goop on your favorite bbq sauce about 10 minutes before they're done. Eat chicken thighs for dinner. Then, the next day for lunch, take one out of the fridge, cold. Put mayo on the top of a toasted hamburger bun, and bbq sauce on the bottom. Kinda beat up the chicken thigh in a sandwich baggie with your knuckles and put it on the bun. Done! Quick.
