I'm super meticulous so I removed my ENGL grill & realized it (and the speaker) needs cleaned. I am going to clean the cab/grill with Nomad (cab amp) cleaner BUT... I'm going to clean the dust / dirt from my 17 year old V30 with a slightly damp microfiber cloth. Am I going to hurt something?

I wouldn't think so but.... I'd keep everything as dry as you can. A horse hair bench brush or a very fine fiber, HIGH QUALITY paint brush would probably serve you just as well and keep things safe.

Another thing, canned air is spectacular for blowing dust out of the nooks and crannies. Just don't get too close or point it 90 degrees to the cone, dust cap (dome) or really the suspension either. You could use an air compressor but you'd need to be super careful and keep the outlet pressure WAY down.
