I got a good deal on a little DA5 and it all works except for the battery input. The ac is actually from a wallwort that puts out 12v dc. The battery power is from 6 "c" cells for 9volts. Somewhere in the power conversion there is a problem. I believe the amp design is set so that it may only run at less power when running batteries but run at full power when run off the 12v input. At least it is that way with the DA10. I was hoping someone had run into this or at least had some good ideas to follow when I rip into it. I think the da5 is the best of these little amps and I would really love to get it working for busking around. Also as a backup position anyone have a good idea for a 12V or 9v rechargable that wasn't too big I could just plug in and skip the c cells?
    Thanks for any help, Da
