Mystified is a pretty obscure song by Fleetwood Mac, but it is one of my favorite Christine compositions. I will miss her voice and especially her awesome keyboard playing!
I disagree. Jones was a respectable member of that band and did sing at least some of the hit songs. With all due respect, you've just got too low an opinion of Jones.I'm no huge fan of Stevie, but comparing her to Davy Jones??? Ridiculous statement. She wrote quite a few of Fms hits plus her solo career was successful.
And besides, Jones' voice never made me cringe - Nicks' surely does, much of the time.
oh man, I LOVE Stevie's voice. Just a rnr Eartha Kitt.I can't imagine anyone truly loving Nicks' voice. But I feel she's a great songwriter, far surpassing anything by Jones or the rest of the Monkeys combined for that matter.
I respect differing opinions, but "Silver Springs" melts my heart everytime. She knows heartbreak and betrayal.I can't imagine anyone truly loving Nicks' voice. But I feel she's a great songwriter, far surpassing anything by Jones or the rest of the Monkeys combined for that matter.

Yes. One can sense just that in the looks Stevie and Lindsey exchange in the video I shared. It makes the performance all the more powerful.I think from both sides... which is even more powerful. The person who has been wronged knows a self righteous outrage that is powerful, but if the also know the duplicitous side, it brings a temper to the emotion that is not so brittle.
