IMO she was the most underrated and under-utilized weapon in the entire lineup. Brilliant musician and songwriter.

I first heard Songbird as a child and thought it was one of the most beautiful things I’d ever heard. More than 40 years later I still feel that way.

Christine was the Secret Weapon in the band. Her voice was soooooooo smooth and she filled out the sound with her keyboard work. I liked her voice better than Stevie Nicks' on their recordings.

That's very sad, great songwriter, keyboarder and singer. Some of Nicks' and Buckinghams songs are absolute classics, but their expressive vocal style could be kind of....wearing out. Whenver that happened, Christine MacVie got them back on track with her relaxed and grounded singing.
