    Teisco rebuild

I was given a wrecked guitar from a relative about thirty years ago. I painted it white and made a real bad job of refinishing it, which included a awful first attempt at a refret! Half the headstock had been cut off by someone, the pick guard was missing and there was no badge or logo on the guitar. It was several years later that I discovered it was a Teisco. I think an et 220.
It then lived in my attic until a month or two ago, when I dedcided to do something with it.
I completely stripped it down and refinished the neck and body in a metalic blue. I have seen some other Teiscos this colour and thought it might look good with the chrome hardware.
I added a bit of timber to the headstock and managed to get a few parts on ebay. Nearly there just need to locate a neck plate, some tuners and make a nut and refret.
Anyone got any pics of similar Teiscos?

I have one of these, and the wiring is all screwed. Do you have a digaram of what it should look like? I can send you one of what it currently looks like, if you'd like. I'd appreciate any help. Thanks.

I picked one of these up the other day and am trying to get the wiring straight. Any ideas? I'm a rookie with anything beyond cleaning and changing the strings. Diagrams help though. Thanks.

Can anyone help me out and tell me what I can do to fix this beast (besides taking art classes)? It's a Sears and Roebuck made in Japan. The frets and tuners are comin off and I'm tryin to get the thing to make some noise. I am a noob.

the one feature that I'm really jealous of on the ET-440 is the palm mute. How cool is that????

Picked up this wreck of a Hondo the other day

Needed new tuners, bridge, tailpiece, top nut, knobs, rewiring etc.

All sorted from my spare parts box.

DiMarzio pickups in this one, which are really lairy.

A fun beater, which hangs on the wall at my workplace and gets lent out to students on music and video courses sometimes.

Solid timbers on this one too!

    Teisco

This is my Teisco Del Rey. It is supposedly a 1965 model. It was originally blue, but the previous owner spray painted it black. I understand that it's a Silvertone but the headstock was painted over so I can't prove it.

I am a sucker for these oldies. I troll CL and various other sites. I am on a mobile device, but will try to post pics late .

    I currently have 2:
mid sixties Teisco made Silvertone Tele copy in pristine condition
Early sixties? Guyatone that I bought from goodwill and bought an original bridge on eBay

Still looking for more, I just missed out on a sixties Kay bass

I have a Teisco with a gold foil and a mirror pickguard. I don't like it, the pickup is too hot for the sound I want.
