I came up with this a while back.
Using two unfinished, Luan Mahogany, Bi-Fold, Closet doors, a couple of Wooden Stakes and four C-Clamps, I made this.

Throw a couple of Blankets over it and you go it.
Put it anywhere, take it anywhere. Quickly.
Breaks down just as quick, very easy to store, every piece of it can be found at most Discount Building Supply Stores.

Argue what you will about Sonic purity. I argue that this is allows a Psychological comfort Zone for the singer to disconnect from his or her surroundings.
It takes away the distractions and allows the Vocalist the 'freedom' to concentrate on singing as well as possible.

There's brain power right there. I have a broken one. It's only the pins that are woblled out and won't stay in the tracks. Great idea. I could load it with OC 703. Excellent. Thanks.

It's cool when folks make do with what they got! Great idea for my vocal-shy wife ... festoon the back side with watercolors.

When you say "back side"....... I assume you meant the screen?!! No wonder she's shy about doing vocals.

Well, I don't care if the singer is shy or not. Certainly none that I work with are. I can't shut them up. But adding the OC to knock out a little of the room coming back in the mic is what I'd be using it for. It would most likely be set behind them.
