I'd have to stand 3 feet away from the urinal and hope for the best in those things.
Brings a whole new meaning to, "I'm going to put a boot in your..."
They have a shorter version and I see a lot of them running around this part of the country. They're maybe 4-6" longer than a standard cowboy boot, and, as far as I've seen, only worn by the Hispanic population. They seem to be worn more as "casual dress up" attire.
But, yeah, I get a chuckle everytime I see someone in a pair.
I always thought people sent their boots to TJ to get them sharpened.........
Not very practical
I see several potential problems with these. If you were wearing these boots your golf game would suffer, however if you played Croquet - you'd be a "shoe-in".
You couldn't ride in an elevator, even if you could bend over and reach the floor button, the doors wouldn't close.
As mentioned, hitting the urinal would be problematic (for some of you).
You couldn't climb a ladder or scale a fence - that's all I'll say about that.
Shoe boxes would be a problem as well as limited closet space.
Continuously getting *****-slapped would be a problem I think.
You could however get slap-back from just tapping your foot.
Big trouble using your pedal board.
Where do you get the long socks?
It reminds me of the time a teenager, knowing that I was a KISS fan from the 70's, asked me "what kind of shoes should I wear if I dress up as Paul Stanley for Halloween?". My reply, "something you can run in...".
Bad fashion statement Hombres. And the irony of trying to run from a crowd.
You know which one is the funniest one I think...
Looks to me like they're compensating for something.
They reminded me of all the times my dad threatened to put his foot up my ass. He would have gotten a big kick out of that one.
I wonder if any hipsters will be daring enough to wear these.
Zoot suits, hot pants, miniskirts, hoop skirts, ties, kilts, codpieces, 10-gallon hats, backwards baseball caps, platform boots, Uggs, moon boots, every hat worn by every woman at the wedding of William and Kate, PVC catsuits, toesocks...
It's always something.
I can't believe no one posted these when we had that favorite-shoes thread a while back!
I kind of like them...
