New Gibson Day! Well, new to me anyhow.

"Les Paul Melody Maker;" simplicity itself. One pickup, one volume control. Stock Gibson ceramic humbucker (included) replaced with GFS Dream 90 P-90 single coil. Came with a nice Gibby gigbag like the one that came with my Les Paul Special.

    Total damage? Two Benjamins even!

I've been eyeing a melody maker myself lately.

BTW, If Krashpad gets a guitar, I'm going to automatically assume it's a CHEAPO! You are the king of affordable rockers!

    I like the P90!

I may do a 2 P90 setup in another LP, they sound good in the neck position, too!!

Nice score! I've got a Dream 90 in the neck position of my Epi LP Standard. They sound great. You got a little rock monster there, for sure.

Thanks, haven't had much chance to give her a workout; it's funny, it seems some hate the Dream 90, but so far it sounds fine to me.

I've been meaning to try out the Mean 90, but I kinda like all the pickups I've got right now. The Dream really works in the Les Paul, though. It sounds like an LP bridge pickup, just not so dark. It should scream pretty good once you get the chance to put the hammer down.

That's a great deal for $200. Those Dream 90s are OK too.
