I used to own a Gibson mandocello. Like this one except with a dark finish. Really cool sounding but very hard to play (stiff action, etc.)

CT's debut album is fantastic! :cool:

Saw them live in '99 at LA Zona Rosa in Austin. They played three nights in a row, doing the first 3 albums, one complete album a night. Never was a fan before, just familiar with their hits. Hearing Mandocello live that first night set the hook in deep and I've been a huge fan ever since.

Before they got started, Robin Zander was low profile milling around the crowd. My brother spotted him and he nicely talked to us and signed a Budokan 8 track my brother brought along in hopes of just such an opportunity.
