Been a few days since the last tru oil session. I smoothed it out with mineral spirits and 1500 & 2500 grit. Feels great, didn’t burn through, so we’re gonna assemble it... we’ll logo and buff it in a week or two lol....

so yeah... regarding the bridge posts... already had a stupid hiccup ha! It’s fixed now but damn I was pist for like an hour at least! Lol

Thanks! Still needs a logo and a good buff but just wanted to piece it up and check it.
Yellow was huge on purpose, my common law wife did the dye job and I cleared it lol

Is there any reason (other than aesthetics) to shield the parts of the pickguard that will be sitting on wood? I thought the point was to close the cage over the cavities.
