I can see stainless for somebody playing a guitar for a living or somebody that plays 12 hours a day at home, but that's about it. As always, YMMV.

I don't fall into either of those categories but for some reason I have opted to use it. I guess I am a glutton for punishment. :D:D:D:D And perhaps since I bought a big loop of it....

I can't say I ever had a guitar long enough to replace the frets. I have seen some fret wear on a couple guitars I played regularly for years, but never even leveled them. I played in a garage band who practiced for 3 hours a week every week for 9 years. During that time I probably used 3 different guitars as my main ones. Never replaced the frets...never leveled the frets.....I use 9-42 and that could contribute to the longevity.

Nothing really, just hate reverse headstocks and I'm left handed :lol:
like em cuz they’re easier to tune... economy of motion of my wrist lol

my main guitar for a couple decades has been a Jackson with a reverse headstock... muscle memory


... also for what it’s worth, I bat and golf left handed... but I don’t golf lol so there ya go

I TRIED to learn lefty, but guess who all the TAB and Chord Books are written for :mad:. So I did what we've always done,learn it your way then teach it to ourselves OUR way :D. But by then I was so far ahead righty that it was a pain so stayed with the herd :lol:

Well we WERE burned by the Inquisition as witches for over 100 years :rolleyes:. My mom's Basque family escaped to Northern Italy. Seems we were smarta** and did things righty (as we all learn) then bragged about it. Basgue aren't very subtle, just tall and muscles
