Funny, a guy we met at a bar the other night mentioned Charo in passing- I hadn’t thought about her in years, and now this thread pops up. Not sure what it all means. 😄

Dude,
She may be playing something, but she's not playing that tune. Certainly not by herself...

I have played this song about 1000 times, maybe more. She is playing it, or she is doing the best hand synching I've ever seen. She's been known in the small world of classical guitar for a very long time. She was a child prodigy and studied with Andres Segovia. She's played that piece live many times.

Another piece with tremolo effect.

The tremolo effect makes it sound like several guitars. But it is indeed only one guitar. This piece is an intermediate piece for any serious classical player.

Strange coincidence...just yesterday we were watching a few old Love Boat episodes because my partner had a bad day and just wanted to watch something mindless. Charo was a guest on one episode and played a few brief passages, but didn't really show off what she was capable of.
