Changes to my Pirate-Caster

    I’ve posted before about this build, but I keep changing things.... for the better!

    Gone are the Fender Vintage Noiseless pickups and Bigsby B5.
    Now she’s got TV Jones Starwood Tele pickups and a Bigsby B16 with aluminum Tru-Arc rocking bar bridge.
    The B16 makes for amazing vibrato and great tuning stability, but it changes the feel of the guitar. I like the way it feels this way though. It’s almost like an archtop with the strings so far from the body.

    Also,
    I got so used to the lack of noise from the noiseless pickups, so I just ordered a Rowin Noise Gate for my pedal board. I’m hopeful that it’ll kill some of that single coil buzz I’m getting from these incredible TV Jones pickups.

    I can't say why, but each time I look upon this fine piece of custom telecaster art, I expect to see Jack Sparrow's astonished face somewhere on the pickguard.
    Looks cool either way.
