    Pretty excited about this.

I'd opted for more tonal options with my smaller board, when I first stet it up. An extra OD and two delays (one a mini so I could fit the extra OD on there).

The changes simplify things a bit...and really make a difference with the sound. Buffering is better. KoT is the biggest beneficiary. El Cap used to be on my big board and now we're happily reunited. And the CS-3 is Humphrey modded (Atom Smasher)...and i'd forgotten how much I like it. No blend knob, but it's just a really sweet sound.

Sounds like it’s plugged straight into the amp. So clear.

    Thanks, man!

Awesome board. How about the Favorite Tap switch instead of the Favorite? Gives some more room, but probably only half an inch.

I made a Fav switch with a small enclosure that would save even more space.

    Lol...looks like Batman!

Serious: I don’t recognize it. Watcha got thar?

I am getting an MXR CAE buffer on the rec of my friend, jnepo. Mount it under the frame. Is that what your shot is?

Compressor does a good job but the CAE is a step up. I’m blown away how much I’m into this board.

Great minds think alike on the favorite tap.

I’ll get that if and when I put my tremolo on there and need a mini chorus. But that CE-2 is a long time friend....

    Built your own...?

LOL! That looks like a great way to spill your cold snack on the floor. That is what a belt buckle is for anyway.

Yep, not too hard. Diagrams on the web. Just remember to use a momentary switch..I forget which one. I learned that the hard way.

Down side is that you lose the height. I replaced this one with a Favorite Tap, and it was better because it kept the switch at the same level as the El Cap.

Ahhhh...a bit blurry, but that is one it's principle purposes, after all, isn't it...?

So: we're talking about making changes to my vertical board?

    A timely topic, sir!

Here is my stalwart friend; of many decades:

He gave up the ghost recently. Lost his tooth, so to speak. So, after much research on the topic; I changed over to this hired gun:

Very excited about this change, actually! Much faster response time and a cleaner tone on the down stroke.

Good to know and, yep: I'd go with the Favorite Tap, too, for the height.

I'll consider it. The extra space could be used for an Ego mini just above it (replace the CS-3), in which case I think I could get my tremolo on there.
