I’m looking for a ceramic slide. Any maker/seller recommendations besides Rocky Mountain and Paloma? Not interested in Dunlop. Need an internal diameter of 20-22 mm for my fat ring finger. Thanks.

I can't help you out, my favorite ceramic slide lost its package years ago but your size requirement underlines a serious problem with most (all?) slides: no sizes included on packging.
And packaging: impossible to try them on.

Don't want to step on any toes but: where did you buy it? Try it on first?

The best companies will make one to your specifications, for not much money.

For glass and composites, Diamond Bottlenecks, in the UK are great. If you don't want to put something fragile into the transatlantic postal system, I'm sure you can find something closer to hand. Sizing shouldn't ever be a problem, though. :)

Big Heart Slides can custom make you one. Here are some of their slides I have (aluminum heart, porcelain heart, porcelain round, Robert Johnson signature). I don't know if they do ceramic but porcelain has a similar sound.

I love ceramic for it's tone. I have one they don't seem to make any more, but I see there are tons of options out there these days

I just switched to ceramic, and I love the Dunlop, but I need the large, and I'm a pinky slider. Is it because Dunlop is not a one-man shop? Or did you try and not like them?

I play very little slide but my favorite ceramic is the Dunlop. I have a sweet glass but I have no idea who made it. I got it in the early ‘80s so it had to be from a store in the DFW area. Longhorn is a real possibility because I lived about 6 miles from them. But I really don’t remember

    Thanks all!

Dunlop slides (Moonshine, Mudslide) are too small for me. I’ll check the others out.
