After not having played my AC15C1 much for a few months, when I s something was very off with my tone. Very rolled off highs - not anything you would say about a Vox/ Blue combo! I tried different cables, bypassing my pedal board and changing tubes in the amp. Then I suspected the wiring harness in the Tele or the pickups themselves.
Well I just swapped a Blue from another amp and it was night and day: all the sparkle and tone was back.
Anyone know what could cause a speaker to become dull and barky sounding? This UK blue is less than a year old and is used mostly for home recording with the master and gain no more than 1/2 way up
    Thanks

I suppose the cone could be misaligned or the voice coil damaged.
