Amp - Muleskinner 15 watter
Guitar - Nash mid 50s clone
OD pedal - Barber Gain Changer

Bridge / Nashville Lion - Tele®/Esquire® bridge pickup. 42AWG over A5 rod magnets, lots of country twang with a hefty dose of mid-range, think "Broadcaster plus", this is the original Cavalier Lion that's quite at home for country, rock, pop and bluez - a classic overwound 50's Tele® bridge pickup, about 8.2k dcr. Smooth treble that's hardly shrill, good midrange and some bass end, good fat twang, arguably the most sought after Tele® bridge pup for country and lots of other genres. Black or ivory/parchment wrapped, supplied with mounting screws and tubing.

Neck / Lion King - 43AWG coil wire over AlNiCo 5 magnets, approximately 8k resistance.

Rob's Lion and Lioness are great sounding pickups. I have a Fat Lion in one of my Teles to balance with a P90 in the neck and the combination is terrific as is the bridge pickup alone for more gritty snarly tone solo tone.

Rob also contributes a lot of very good common sense advice around here regarding pickup selection and myths vs the truth.

Great demo, excellent sounding pickups. Just spent some time on the cavalier site reading about all the various pickups available, have to go back and listen to more of the sound samples… I really like the clear, no-nonsense descriptions and flexible options (and the tones).
I'm putting together a tele currently, and have a new set of fender Amer. vintage 52 pickups for it, but if I'm not happy with that sound I think I'll try a cavalier. I wonder which cavaliers my "original vintage" set is closest to…

Just installed my Nashville/huge twin a few hours ago. I want to take a day or two before doing a review but my first impressions are.

1. Amazingly quick turnaround.

2. This pickup really sparkles. Not in a thin pingy way but just the way the upper harmonics seem to be leaping out. Full chords sound gorgeous on it and single line stuff sounds good and spanky.
