Replaced a SD Broadcaster with a Nashville Lion in my partscaster Esquire. The SD sounded OK but is much improved overall, especially mids and highs(what I wanted), performs exactly as described. Thanks Rob of Cavalier Pups for great service, communication, and quality pup!

Cavalier Nashville is a great sounding bridge pickup! Well-balanced, not too "middy", not too sharp.

I have one in my Fender Special Deluxe Ash, Aged Cherry Burst (Cavalier Lion King at the neck position.)

Rob is the man! Wonderful to talk to also. A wealth of knowledge.

I have a Nashville Lion in two guitars, a Bakersfield/Fat in another and a 51/52 in my most prized Tele.

Along with several SRV Tigers and Lion Kings.

Not affiliated with Cavalier Pickups, but a satisfied customer for close to ten years.

Nice guitar DHart. Welcome to the forum Oldhand613.

That’s what I have in the Esquire-ish guitar I put together. I already had it in-house and thought it would work well. It’s a solid option.

    Rob is the man!
Great knowledge and the customer support is awesome.
Can't speak for the Nashville but the Fat Lion is a great pickup indeed.

    Can't go wrong with Rob!

Probably my favorite Cavalier pickup I've tried. Very versatile and sounds fantastic!

I’ve had the Nashville, Fat, Nash/Huge and a Custom Nocaster I call the Ludicrous Lion. They all sound good!

Excited to try out this Lion King neck with Fat Lion bridge, but now I gotta wait for Warmoth to reopen! Still got 2 weeks on the body cure anyways at least.

Rob definitely knows what he’s talking about and isn’t cagey about sharing his knowledge. I have learned a ton about pickups from him.

Btw, welcome. That’s a fine lookin geetar ya got!

I've been using his pickups since 2010 or 2011, when he was offering them up for testing initially. It's all I use, still, as of today.

I used the Fat Lion in a Tele-to-Esquire retrofit I did last year, and put a Nashville/Lion King combo in my Tele just about a month ago. They're all great, especially once you get the heights sorted out on a guitar with multiple pickups.

At this point I'll buy any Cavalier pickup without question so long as it seems to fit what I need.

The Nashville paired with a Lion King is a deadly combination, indeed.

Nothing but love here for Cavalier. Right up there with the big boys in terms of sound and quality and blows them away in terms of service and turn time. Proud owner of guitars equipped with Nocaster Holy Grail Lion, She Wolf, Fat Lion, 51/52 and Lion King. Always seems to have the perfect pickup for what I need in any particular configuration.

It's a great pickup for sure

I had one in a very nice cheap top load tele.

Rob even did the D pole slightly higher than fralin's raised D
