    Lockdown recording project.

Over the last few months I have been learning how to record my own musical noodling’s onto the computer.

The video features my Granddaughter Alana when she was younger. She’s now 3 and will soon be a big girl she tells me.

The piece of music (Carillon) was originally recorded by a group called Sky back in 1979. It was written by their bass player, Herbie Flowers along with Ian Gomm.

So here you go. All instruments played (I use the term loosely!) by yours truly. Piano, Acoustic Guitar, Bass Guitar, Electric Guitars and Drums. I’ve only had the E-drums about 3 weeks as you can probably tell.

The equipment used is as follows.

    Recording software – Reaper

Audio interface – Focusrite Scarlett Solo 3rd Gen

    Acoustic Guitar – Crafter GAE18

    Bass Guitar – Ibanez GSR200

Electric Guitar – Squire CV50 Stratocaster through a Line 6 Helix.

    Piano – Korg Krome

    E-drums – DD70 Digital drums

    Lovely.
    Alana will be very proud.
Strawberry is a popular hair color among my nieces.
You need one of those t-shirts that says: "You can't tell me what to do, you aren't my granddaughter."
