So let’s hear it from all you learned intellects, artists and drunken buddies. What is the proper length to wear cargo shorts. Is it being modest being below the knee or maybe a risqué couple inches above ???? Does the length vary with the seasons and weather??
I’d like to even hear from the ladies on this fashion topic.

Lastly, when will corduroy OP shorts come back?

With shorts, cargo or otherwise, error on the side of too long. When I visit family back in Wisconsin I notice (an my wife did too) that guys all wear short shorts. They aren't daisy dukes but are just a little too short.

Mine usually start above the knee, but after I cram the pockets full of crap; that and my total lack of hips* means that they end up below the knee.

So put me down for both!

All of my HIKING SHORTS (cargo shorts violate dress code here) are a little longer than mid-thigh to a couple inches above knee. If it covers or below knee, it's a little too "gangster" for me. ;)

Skinny jeans are cool at any length. Why not skinny cargos?

Below the knee, but way above the ankle. Midgets wearing 3/4 lengths, coming round here with their tiny hands and smelling of cabbage....

If they are below your knees they aren’t shorts anymore.
    They’re capris or something.

While standing, below the knee, it is acceptable for them to rise above the knee when seated.
