That's just one of those Beefheart things. The album version hung together well as a song that sounded intentional. I don't know what to make of this rambling thing.

This is one of my absolute favs, was my ringtone for long time. In fact, now that I mention it, I think it could be time to update again - to the Buggy Boogie Woogie
I tried for a long time to play it on the guitar, but I know don't what they're doing

One of my favorites from Don. Ry Cooder is in the band, but IIRC isn't showcased on anything. He is, however, obviously Ry and sounds just like he sounds today. He must have been born playing that way, with that tone.
